Appointment policy
Booking terms and cancellation policy.
These terms apply after an appointment request is reviewed and accepted. An inquiry does not confirm an appointment.
Deposit
A 40% upfront deposit is required to hold an accepted appointment. The remaining balance is due at the start of the session.
Refunds and cancellation
The deposit is refundable only when cancellation is made more than 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
Cancellation within 2 hours of the scheduled appointment time is not refundable, and the deposit is retained.
Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests made more than 2 hours before the scheduled appointment may move the deposit to a new approved time.
Late arrival and no-shows
Sessions end at the scheduled time, and the full rate applies. Arriving more than 20 minutes late may forfeit the appointment and the deposit.
For a no-show, the deposit is retained, and future bookings may require payment in full upfront.
Provider cancellation
If Alva Jay cancels or reschedules for any reason, the deposit is refunded in full or carried over at your choice.
